Blessings in October, Inc. accepting Homeowner Applications

Blessings in October’s ninth annual workday is scheduled for Saturday October 20. The non-profit organization prepares houses of disabled, low-income and elderly individuals for winter as a priority. Additionally, the organization corrects safety issues, makes general repairs and when resources allow, improves the exterior appearance of selected homes. Due to limitations, Blessings in October is unable to fulfill the requests of all applicants. In 2017, the organization’s projects included nine homes and significant repairs at the local Senior Citizens community building. Homeowner applications may be submitted through August 31 and may be obtained at Citizens State Bank, Farmers State Bank and in the FORMS section of the website: www.blessingsinoctober.com.Blessings in October, Inc. does not accept any monies from any government agency.
