Brianna Latray, a junior at Groesbeck High School, competed in the Texas Miss United States Agriculture Pageant on Nov. 10-11. The event occurred in Temple, where Brianna had reigned as Limestone County Miss United States Agriculture for the past eight months.
Voter-Approved Tax Ratification Election for the Groesbeck ISD For (Limestone County) 779 votes, 56.57 percent Against (Limestone County) 598 votes, 43.43 percent GISD VATRE will result in the district generating an extra $800,000 in state funding without affecting the total tax rate. A vote “Against” would have required the GISD to reduce $800,000 from this year’s budget.
