World Trade Center Survivor to speak at 9/11 Remembrance Service on Sunday

Living Proof Church’s 8th annual 9/11 remembrance service will take place on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. with a special guest, World Trade Center Survivor Stanley Praimnath.

“It is our honor and privilege to host this event for the eighth year in a row,” said Living Proof pastor John Carabin. “This year we will be paying special honor to fallen Groesbeck firefighter Rick Hempel who called LPC his home church. The 2023 coin will honor him. We are very excited to welcome guest speaker Stanley Praimnath who was in the second tower when the plane struck several stories below him.” Living Proof will also host a BBQ contest. The over 20 teams entered will cook the 50+ briskets that will be served as a free lunch for all who attend the service honoring Limestone County’s First Responders.
