The Ashburn-Hanna American Legion Post 288, located at 213 W. Navasota St. in Groesbeck, will host a recognition ceremony and shrimp boil for local veterans as part of the celebration of the 2020 Vietnam Veterans Day on March 28.
The Groesbeck Lions Club had its monthly business meeting on Wednesday, March 4, at noon at Mi Rancho Restaurant.
The Cynthia Ann Garden Club had its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club at 1 p.m. President Becky Smith called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone.
