The Jonathan Hardin Chapter, NSDAR met at the Gibbs Memorial Library in Mexia, Texas on December 2, 2020. The meeting was called to order and special guests welcomed by Regent Nancy McSwane. The invocation was given by Honorary Regent, Aleece McBay.
MONTH OF DECEMBER The Limestone District-County Attorney’s Office cordially invites families and friends of victims and survivors of violent crime to bring an ornament to place on this special tree. If you have previously placed an ornament on the tree it will be available for you to use. There will be no ceremony held. Due to COVID-19, the event ceremony has been canceled. The tree will be up throughout the holidays, for people to visit, place their ornament, and have a time of quiet reflection if they so choose.
Dick Champa of Harker Heights was the speaker for the Groesbeck Lions Club on Wednesday, December 9. As usual, the Club met at the Mi Rancho Restaurant.
The Taste of Groesbeck will close with the Parade of Lights which will be held at 6 p.m.
