Surviving the Holidays Seminar in Mexia

Calvary Baptist Church of Mexia will be offering a very special ‘Surviving The Holidays’ seminar for adults who are having difficulty facing the holidays due to the death of a loved one. ‘Surviving The Holidays’ is a special 2-hour seminar offered through GriefShare, a nondenominational grief support program open to people of all faiths. During the seminar, participants will watch a 40-minute video filled with practical holiday survival tips and the real-life stories of people who have navigated the holiday season following the loss of a loved one. Afterward, participants can participate in a group discussion if so desired. Participants will also receive a personal copy of the GriefShare Holiday Survival Guide in order to take notes and reference in the weeks ahead.

This seminar will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 519 S. McKinney. The seminar room can be accessed by driving to the back of the church & parking in the back parking lot. Look for an entrance with a Christmas wreath on it.
