Rodeo to kick off Thornton Homecoming this weekend Parade, Contests, Street Dance and more planned
Thornton Homecoming will kick off this week with the annual rodeo to kick off the festivities on Friday night. The Annual Thornton Homecoming rodeo is CPRA/ MPRA Sanctioned with Champion Rodeo Company
And $2,500 Added Money. Friday & Saturday Night performances start at 8 p.m. and slack will be on Friday night. Youth rodeo events starting at 7 p.m. nightly
On Saturday, June 19, many events are planned; starting at 8 a.m. with the Annual Pie Contest, followed by the parade at 11 a.m. The parade lineup will be at 10 a.m. at the Community Center
Following the parade, a Fried Chicken Lunch will be served at the Mary Helen Nance Community Center or Hot dog Lunch at the Thornton Fire Department.
Thornton Ex-Students meeting will have a meeting at 1 p.m. at the center.
Saturday evening at 9 p.m. Dancing under the Stars will be held at the Thornton Slab with Jonna Mae opening for The Randy Brown Band. For more information
