Freel retires from city of Groesbeck after 10 years

Janene K. Freel officially retired from the City of Groesbeck after 10 plus years as the Municipal Court Clerk for Judge Nance. Freel’s last day was Fri. May 29.
“While we hate to see her go, we know Janene’s retirement is well-deserved and we wish her well as she starts this new chapter in life,” stated the City of Groesbeck.
Freel came to Groesbeck from Arlington after her husband’s retirement eleven years ago and currently reside in Thornton. She was previously employed by Pier One at the Corporate office as a Property Manager.
A get together with city employees was held at the Court/Police building on Friday afternoon.
