Families blessed for Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving proved to be a very giving one in the Groesbeck area. Living Proof Church, Groesbeck Fire Department, M.A.G. Inc., Accent Care and Black Cactus Armory all teamed up together to give 120 deserving families a full Thanksgiving meal this past weekend.
Each Thanksgiving Dinner was complete with turkey, potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, gravy, and multiple types of fruits and vegetables.
The 120 families that were provided with these dinners were identified by the Living Proof congregation who elected their neighbors in need and by the Groesbeck public school system.
Living Proof Church would like to thank Groesbeck Fire Rescue, Black Cactus Armory, M.A.G. Inc., and Accent Care for helping us deliver turkeys with all the trimmings to more than 120 families in Groesbeck and surrounding towns.
“As a pastor, I would also like to thank the members of LPC for always being willing to step out and make sure things like this never go undone,” said Living Proof Pastor John Carabin.
