Kosse Cyclone

About 1,000 people showed up to watch the Fireworks Show put on by the City of Kosse and the Kosse Volunteer Fire Department at the city park. Though parking reached capacity, many people parked in downtown streets and enjoyed the festive display from the comfort of their vehicles. As some neighboring counties like McLennan and Freestone canceled fireworks shows in light of the dry, hot weather, Kosse welcomed more visitors than usual. The Kosse T is now open and serving energizing teas, meal replacement shakes, coffee and more to Kosse residents and visitors. Following the success of their original location in Groesbeck, Limestone Nutrition (LN) owners Lorraine Heath, Stacey Matjeka and Trish Telford decided to expand, seizing the chance to rent a downtown location from the Kosse Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
