GISD cancels classes for Mon. Jan. 11

GISD SCHOOLS take a snow day, weather closure report
Due to the Winter Storm Warning in effect along with the bands of heavy snow and hazardous road conditions all classes and extra-curricular activities scheduled for Monday, January 11, 2021 for Groesbeck ISD have been canceled.
Groesbeck ISD at this time will not move to remote instruction but instead will utilize a bad weather day built into the schedule. Due to the arrangement of the 2020-2021 school calendar the day will not have to be made up.
At this time, definite plans for classes on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 have not been made. Continue to check the GISD website (www.groesbeckisd.net) and our website (www.groesbeckjournal.com) for breaking weather information and closures.
