The yard of the month in Kosse belongs to Wayne & Robin Rogers. Robin is a retired Nurse Practioner; retired from the Navy, Wayne is also retired Navy as a Master Electrician. They moved from Harlingen and chose Kosse because it was a friendly place, she mentioned people at the Kosse Café were very courteous to them when they were searching. They have two kids and three grandkids. Her favorite part of the yard is her rose beds. The Roger’s yard is full of veggie gardens, hummingbirds, flower beds, and chickens.

Groesbeck Police Chief Chris Henson took a moment Monday, July 31 to talk to the Groesbeck American Legion Post 288 about the Citizens on Patrol program that the agency is starting to implement. Groesbeck Police Department has been fortunate to have a full roster of police officers and the support of the community for many years.
